Peloton’s Summer Olympics Gift Campaign

Ahead of the Tokyo Olympics, Peloton asked us to create a gift pack to celebrate their Champions of Summer 2021 — nine Olympic athletes from the Peloton community. The gifts would arrive after the games, and had to nod to Japan, whether through narrative, maker or history.

We put together a bundle inspired by rest and relaxation, in particular traditional Japanese onsen bathing culture, taking a moment just for yourself to cleanse mind and body.

The selection included a personalized blanket made from recycled cotton, a glass carafe with Japanese charcoal, a Bichotan charcoal eye mask and face soap set, Japanese room shoes and incense, all presented in Peloton-branded packaging.

Each blanket was one of a kind, a commemorative piece woven with Peloton branding and the athlete’s name. Truly special, and something to be cherished.

The other items used Japanese materials, both traditional and modern, to deliver a wellness package designed to soothe and reinvigorate the recipients after their epic exertions.

Packaged in a black box embossed with the Peloton logo, opening up the magnetic close revealed each gift one by one, thoughtfully packaged and topped off with a congratulatory notecard.
